The pub’s quaint, relaxed atmosphere paired with its scenic waterfront location overlooking the York River enhances the dining experience. We went here for lunch and it was amazing food! There wasn’t any wait for seating but we did have a small group. It was also busy. We all got a burger and they are pretty big but REALLY good! The workers are also super nice!!! It also has a good view of the York River. My family and I are definitely coming back next time we come to Yorktown!!
We had a wonderful lunch on 11/7. I had the fried flounder and my husband had blackened grilled flounder. Both were fresh and superb!! Our bartender/server, Shauntae, was friendly, attentive and welcoming. It’s a small pub with limited seating but we managed to get seats at the bar. The atmosphere was quaint and relaxing. We highly recommend this gem on the waterfront!
One of my favorite beaches is where this pub is located. I've been going there since a baby. Pub has good draft beer and pretty good food. Great view of the York river and sunset. Highly recommend.
What a birthday lunch! Fantastic- food, service- loved everything. Our server - she was so adorable and professional! It was a Monday in January so it was not as crowded as we have seen during the warmer months, but steady customers were coming in. I have a pet peeve about ordering soup in a restuarant its always seems to be lukewarm. Their chowder did not disappoint! Came out piping hot like it should!! Food came quickly but not too quick that we couldn't enjoy our starters. Onion rings - on point! I would give them a 10 if it was available. Splurged a bit on my birthday lunch, but the prices are very reasonable!
Comfort food. I had a yummy grilled cheddar cheese on rye and a bowl of chile. The chili was full of meat with a little kick.
I was pleasantly surprised by the York Town Pub. The atmosphere was nice, great service and above average food. The prices also were very reasonable and honestly cheaper than I expected for where the restaurant is located. You can get a burger and fries for $12.50 which is good nowadays. I didn’t drink but beers ranged from $4-$6 and cocktails were $10-$12. Which is very reasonable. Overall I’d definitely come back regularly if I was a local.
Asked the lady at the front desk at the nearby museum where is the best place to eat and she said to come here! So if you’re a local or a tourist stop by, the food is fresh and delicious! The service is quick, friendly and professional! The blackened tuna, reuben, and the large crab cakes are very good! A great place to grab a drink, see the water and walk down the river walk!
Had a cup of clam chowder which was pretty good and had a nice flavor. The fresh fish was flounder, which I got blackened and it was pretty good too. The baked potato was pretty bad though, extremely dry and overcooked. The crab cake was delicious, definitely the star of the show
